Leicester Firefighters had their work cut out for them this afternoon starting with a brush fire off of Auburn Street.
That fire was contained rather quickly. As companies were picking up another brush fire was called in on Parker Street in the Rochdale section of town.
This was a large fire that scorched over 15 acres before firefighters from all over Worcester County could get a handle on it.
The fire burned a shed to the ground and melted siding on the house. Firefighters made a great stop on the fire before it had a chance to do damage to homes in the area. Here are a few photos from both fires.
