Leicester firefighters were called to a Stafford Street residence for a reported building fire on Friday May 8th.
Upon arrival companies found an automobile which was on a trailer and still connected to a pick up truck was well involved.

Shortly after arrival it was learned the whole assembly was parked inside the garage when the automobile caught fire. The homeowner was lucky enough to be able to pull everything out of his garage preventing any further extension to the garage.

A tanker from Auburn Fire was called to the scene as this is a non hydrant area of town. Companies checked for extension and completed overhaul.

With the combination of a quick thinking resident and a good stop by Leicester firefighters the amount of damage was minimal.
