This 6 wheel dump truck rolled over on Biltmore Rd just in from Moreland Street.
The truck driver had lost his brakes going down the hill. In a selfless act to prevent major damage to property and possible loss of life the driver thought quick enough to cut the wheel to the right and lay the truck over on it's side on the side street.
The truck was loaded with material. The driver was shaken up but was uninjured.
Had the driver continued down Moreland Street he would have sailed thru the busy intersection at Pleasant Street risking the chance of hitting pedestrians, passing cars and houses.
The road was closed for a few hours while the scene was cleaned up and the truck uprighted
