Auburn Firefighters made quick work of this dwelling fire on Mayfield Road this afternoon.
Auburn dispatchers received calls for smoke coming from a skylight at the single family house.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire in the kitchen. The fire was knocked down quickly.
No one was home at the time of the fire. There was a dog that was given oxygen by an Auburn police officer and firefighter. The dog seemed to perk up after a little while.
