Took a trip to the city for fire prevention week. We went to a display at the USS Intrepid. They had a memorial service and the blessing of the fleet. They also had static displays and some demonstrations.
After the Intrepid the NYC Comic Con happened to be down the block at the Javits Center so Patrick and I stopped to do some people watching.
We then took a walk down the High Line which is an old elevated railroad bed that has been converted into a park.
We stopped at Squad 18 and the Fire store around the corner then we took the train back home.
