Shortly after noon on Sunday January 16th Worcester Firefighters were called to Merriwether Road for reports a structure fire.
I was already out in Webster Square when the call went out. Worcester Police officers were already on scene as I arrived before the first due fire companies.
There was heavy fire venting from the attic. It was confirmed all occupants made it out of the house safely.
The fire was knocked down quickly.
