Feb, 14th 2016- Worcester Firefighters were called to Henry Street for a report of a structure fire.

Henry Street is a short and very narrow street in the East side of the city. It is only minutes away from the Franklin Street Firehouse.

Companies arrived to find fire in a 2 story wood frame occupied dwelling.

Companies were heavily engaged on arrival and had to evacuate the building and set a defensive attack.

A second alarm was sounded almost immediately.

Companies set up big lines and ladder pipes to knock down the fire.

It didn't help temps were hovering around 0 degrees.

A 3rd alarm was sounded for relief purposes. A Worcester Regional Transit bus was called to the scene to act as a warming station for firefighters.
