The Worcester Fire Department has been on a hot streak lately, no pun intended. 3 multiple alarm fires in a little over 24 hours.
This fire took place on Westminster Street on 2/24/2020 around quarter of 5.
Companies arrived to find heavy fire coming from the wood frame house. They attempted an interior attack but pulled everyone from the building as conditions deteriorated.
The fire would reach 3 alarms before it could be brought under control.
There were no injuries reported.
The wind and the city's topography didn't help much either!
