I took in this natural gas call on Parsons Hill Drive on the way home from the Pelham Street fire.
A contractor struck a gas main going into a house. It appears the main was marked improperly and was accidently struck while excavating.
Companies arrived on scene to find gas venting from the broken pipe in the front of the house.
Eversource gas company arrived and clamped off the line and made repairs.
