Here is a gallery from Worcester Fire Lt Mark Cady's last shift after 32 years in the WFD.
Mark has been a mentor to me for a long time. If it wasn't for Mark sharing a fraction of his knowledge with me I wouldn't be where I am today.
Mark worked the day tour and caught a 2 alarm fire right out of the gate. It was a small fire knocked down quickly.
A fantastic meal was cooked for dinner as a tradition of a retiring firefighter. The chefs did a great job.
I can't thank Group 4 South Division for their great hospitality. The day was pretty low key.
Mark only had a couple of runs before he hung his gear up at the end of the shift.
Enjoy the next chapter brother!
