A copy and paste from my Facebook page.

I threw together a little highlight reel from the inaugural season of the Massachusetts Pirates arena football team.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a few things.

Thank you to my new football fan base for putting up with my spot news photography posts and thanks to spot news photography fans for putting up with my arena football posts.

I hope you find all my posts informative. I would like to take a few moments to thank a few people.

I'd like to thank Kate Nelson for the phone call in the spring asking if I'd like to be a team photographer.

I'd like to thank Hassan Yatim and Jawad Yatim for having me on board.

I'd like to thank Brandon Perotto aka Uncle B for the good times.

Mike Fusco Jr. And Jackie Hall for letting me tag along on road trip adventures.

Coach AP, Anthony Payton Coach Ameer, Coach Serge, Coach Teddy Merkel, Coach Mark, Coach Billy Savary, Intern Coach Trey Carrier for allowing me access to the team to do what I do.

I'd like to thank B.j. McBryde, Fred Griggs, Fred Ruff, who's laugh will resonate in my head till the day I die lol Kiante NoWorries Northington, Von Pearson, Lamont Bryant, John Hardy Tuliau, Sean Brackett, Dashawn Johnson, Bill Sweetness Vavau Aka Bill Nye, Thomas now coming to the stage Claiborne, Ali Mourtada, Pasquale Vacchio and the rest of the team, past and current for their hospitality at home and on the road. Allowing me an inside look at the Massachusetts Pirates and making me feel like part of the family.

You are all very talented athletes and also excel at community relations. The amount of smiles you put on kids faces were unmeasurable.

Also shout outs to Rodney Lartey-Otoo, Steven Moniz, Scott Prusak, Chris Sentance, Matt Bartel, Sang T. Le, Dylan Weatherman Azari, Antonio and the rest of the game day crew.

Shout out to the Lady Pirates! Monica Rose O'Connell, Tasha Gaye, Waynie Rivera and the rest of the lady Pirates.

Of course a special thanks to my wife Carolyn Shea and the kids for putting up with me being at the DCU center longer than they'd like and on the road more than they'd like and for having my head stuck in front of a computer editing photos for hours and days on end more than they'd like.

I had a blast working with all of you.

Everyone in the organization should be proud of the product that was put out. We blew the doors off of the inaugural season expansion team expectations.

I hope to see you all next year and if you move on to bigger and better things I wish you all the best!

It was a hell of a ride and while not really pirate ship speak we rode it till the wheels came off!

I've been fortunate to make some great friendships that will last for years to come.

See you all next year!
