Shorty after 3am on Monday February 28th Boston Fire struck box 6145 for a report of a fire at 183 Maverick Street. This address is about a block or two from Engine 9 and Ladder 2’s firehouse on Sumner Street.

I listened to the fire for a while and since I couldn’t go back to sleep I decided to take a ride. I left the house at the 5th alarm.

All of the visible fire was knocked down by the time I arrived. The attic started to take off again while fire detail companies were put into place. They knocked down the remaining fire quickly.
