August 27th- Tow trucks from all over New England responded to a call for young Brayden Kelley. Brayden was a 6 year old boy who had drowned in a pool in Boston. Brayden’s one love was tow trucks. The family hoped a few trucks could do a drive by the funeral home for his wake Sunday night. Little did the family know that hundreds of trucks would come from as far away as Maine.

Companies from Central Massachusetts consisting of Early’s, Boulevard, Direnzos, McFee and Newton and Exceptional left the Millbury Park and Ride lot to convoy out to Boston.

The trucks all staged off of Frontage Rd in Boston. The procession stretched 3 miles thru the streets of South Boston. People lined the streets to watch the procession as it passed by.

I was honored to represent Early’s Towing with their newest truck. It was very humbling to see everyone along the route and have complete strangers thanking us for coming.

Just like the police and fire departments tow drivers have their own brotherhood, and the brotherhood was out in full force!
