On Thursday April 8th Worcester Police officers were involved in a foot pursuit in the area of Hollis Street near Gardner Street.
A 22 year old male was apprehended and bit the officer’s arm. He was charged with receiving stolen property valued at more that $1,200, trafficking in fentanyl (over 10 grams), possession of ammunition without a firearms identification card, assault and battery on a police officer, mayhem, carrying a dangerous weapon (folding knife), operating an off road vehicle on a public way, operating an off road vehicle with no helmet, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
There was also a 27 year old male arrested. He briefly struggled with one of the officers and was placed under arrest for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, number plate violation, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
