Feb 28, 2016- I had left work and stopped at the iconic Coney Island to get some hot dogs for my son. On the way home as I entered Webster Square Worcester struck a box for a reported fire at 1 Mason Street which is at the corner of Pleasant Street.
I made it into the block with the 2nd due companies to find smoke showing from the rear of a 3 decker.
This 3 decker was the scene of a previous fire last year. Companies made a fantastic stop.
While firefighters were making up, a box was struck for 425 Pleasant Street. The address of the housing authority high rise right around the corner from the fire building on Mason Street.
While some companies remained at Mason Street picking up others left for 425 Pleasant Street.
Luckily there was no fire in the high rise.
