This was a brazen mid day shooting on Main Street in Worcester near the corner of Charlton Street.
The victim arrived by private vehicle at the Saint Vincent's Hospital.
Another person restrained in handcuffs was also transported from the scene in an ambulance.
Main Street was closed for several hours while the crime scene was being processed.
