Jan 26- Worcester firefighters were called to Laurier Street just after 8pm for a report of a building fire. Companies reported smoke in the house on arrival. It took a few minutes to locate the seat of the fire which was located in a 2nd floor bedroom.
Once the fire was located crews had it knocked down quickly. Companies checked for extension and overhauled for a short period of time.
The house was occupied at the time of the fire fortunately so it was detected quickly.
There were no injuries reported.
