Here is a gallery from the funeral of FDNY firefighter William Moon held December 29th in Bay Shore Long Island.
As a member of the Fire Bell Club I wanted to make sure the funeral was documented.
Firefighter Moon sustained life threating injuries in a fall at his Sterling Place firehouse in Brooklyn on December 12th.
Firefighter Moon was a 21 year veteran of the FDNY and was assigned to Rescue 2 in Brooklyn. Prior to Recue 2 he was a member of Ladder 133 in Queens.
FF Moon is the 1,158 member of the FDNY to die in the line of duty.
