On Saturday April 25th a group of friends accompanied me down to New York City for the annual NYPD Retired Emergency Man’s Remembrance Day at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn.

After the show we did some buffing. Some of the guys had never been on a buff trip to the city. We drove around Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and even a bit of Manhattan.

We stopped to visit a few friends working in a few firehouses and stopped in the little Italy section of the Bronx for dinner on Arthur Avenue
We didn’t see any fire but we had plenty of laughs!
