Dan Coady of Coady’s towing was struck by a vehicle on the night of March 14th while assisting a motorist who broke down on the side of 495.

Here are some images of his funeral procession held at the Lawrence, North Andover town line Wednesday March 21st. Tow truck drivers from near and far answered the call of their fallen brother. Trucks from as far away as New York and Maine were in attendance.

The trucks filled up a parking lot at a local shopping plaza. When the parking lot filled up they lined the streets with tow trucks of all types and sizes.

It was reported over 400 trucks showed up. Roger Baker and his group from Rehab 5 and the Providence Canteen came up to provide refreshments to all in attendance.

By now it should be automatic, if you see an emergency vehicle on the side of the road #slowdownmoveover

RIP Dan, we’ll drag the chains from here!
