Worcester firefighters were called to a house on Abbott place friday afternoon January 1st for report of a building fire.
Firefighters could see smoke from a distance as they approached the scene. Once they arrived they found fire showing from the rear porches of the occupied dwelling.
A second alarm was called for quickly.
Abbott place is a very narrow roadway off Abbott street. They were only able to get an engine and ladder to squeeze down in front of the house.
The fire was knocked down quickly.
There were no injuries reported.
