I was in the city for the Fire Bell Club meeting Tuesday when a call came in for a parking garage collapse in Manhattan.
I found a parking spot in Brooklyn. I threw my cameras in my bag and headed for the Greenpoint stop on the G line.
After a transfer to the A line we made it to Fulton Street station in about a half hour.
We didn't stay long as we had to get back in time for the meeting but I was able to grab some shots.
One person died and there were a few other injuries.
