Oxford, MA- Calls were received reporting a building fire at 3-9 Wells Street. Numerous calls were received by dispatchers.
The Wells Street address is located on the Leicester town line.
A second alarm was struck by the orders of Deputy Chief Belanger bringing in mutual aid to work and to cover.
Leicester Engine 3, located around the corner in Rochdale arrived first due. There was heavy fire on the front porches of the apartment building.
Crews mounted an aggressive exterior attack knocking down the bulk of the fire.
Once the exterior fire was knocked down crews went inside to knock down the rest of the fire.
All in all a great stop by firefighters
